Adding Assets
To add an Asset from your dashboard, first make sure you have navigated to the Voyages page.
1. Click on Add Asset
This will appear in the bottom left corner of your screen. You have have to expand the sidebar to see this button. When the sidebar is collapsed, this button is labeled with the letter "A".
2. Type in your Asset Name
We will automatically pull information on the vessel/tug if available. If you are adding a barge or your asset is not listed, click "I do not see my asset listed", and input the necessary information.
3. Enter the asset specifications
In this example, we are adding a Ship. Information needed for others assets like barges and tugboats vary slightly.
4. Click on Continue
Add any additional information you have about the asset to increase the accuracy of your financial forecasting.
Your asset is now saved, and will now be visible on your Voyage dashboard. You can select it to view more information
When a vessel is selected, you can view its weather conditions, edit assumptions, and delete the asset.
Deleting Assets
To delete an asset, simply select it on the Voyage dashboard and click the delete button on the sidebar.
Hiding Assets
Alternatively, can easily hide your asset from the map and list view if not in use.
You'll see that your hidden asset is no longer visible in the view
To unhide an asset, navigate to the Voyage Dashboard settings page, find the asset you wish to unhide, and click the asset name to reveal it.
You'll see that your asset has reappeared in the view. If it doesn’t appear automatically, try refreshing your browser.
