After adding all equipment, transit locations and ancillary charges, and have at least two stops added, the next step is to customize your route.

BargeOS offers multiple ways to adjust routing, starting with autogenerated options.

Review and Choose from BargeOS Suggested Routes

To view BargeOS generated options, click "View/Edit Routes" to change the route in the map.

Click on View/Edit Routes

BargeOS will show 1-3 pre-calculated routes for your origin/destination pair. The currently selected route is show in black on the map, while the blue routes indicate an alternate option.

Manually Adjust Route with a Waypoint

For full control of routing, you can use Waypoints to force the route through a given point. This is helpful if you'd like to use a certain lock, or want to avoid an obstacle.

1. Click on the map to add a Waypoint

Simply click anywhere on the route to drop a pin, and add a waypoint to the voyage.

4. Select your desired leg leg

If you have multiple legs on your voyage, you'll need to choose which leg the waypoint should be added to. If you want it on both legs, you'll need to do this twice.
